Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid -Autumn Festival (the 15th of the eighth lunar month each year), also known as the Moon Sacrifice Festival, the Moon Worship Festival, the Moon Festival, and the Reunion Festival, is one of China's traditional festivals and is also popular in neighboring countries such as Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. Mid-Autumn Festival, together with the Spring Festival, Tomb sweeping Day and Dragon Boat Festival, is known as the four traditional festivals of the Han nationality in China. On this day, people engage in various folk activities to express their longing for their hometown and loved ones, hoping for a bumper harvest and happiness. About the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival, there are roughly three kinds: the worship of the moon in ancient times, the custom of singing and dancing under the moon to find a spouse, and the custom of worshiping the land god in ancient autumn.

On the vast sea, a bright moonlight slowly rises; Far away in the sky, you also gaze, listening to the hustle and bustle of your heart.
